Itinerary:

Day 01: Arrival in Cochin
Arrive in Cochin. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy a city tour of Cochin, known as the “Queen of the Arabian Sea.” From time immemorial, Arabs, Chinese, Dutch, British, and Portuguese sailed to Kochi and left their mark on the city. Modern Kochi is a splendid mosaic of these diverse influences. Visit the Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church, and the famous Chinese fishing nets. In the evening, witness a Kathakali dance performance. Kathakali is a unique dance with a history of 2000 years and over 100 ‘mudras’ (gestures) representing deities, demons, heroes, heroines, and kings, based on episodes from the Mahabharata and Ramayana, two Indian epic myths. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 02: Cochin – Munnar (140 km / 04 hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Munnar. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel. Munnar is a beautiful hill station that houses the world’s highest tea plantations. In the afternoon, visit the popular tea plantations. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 03: Munnar – Periyar (110 km / 03 hrs)
After breakfast, transfer to Periyar. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel. Periyar, stretching across 777 km² in the Cardamom Hills, hosts one of India’s largest wildlife reserves. Filled with exotic flora and vibrant wildlife, it’s the perfect escape nestled between the hills. In the afternoon, take a boat ride on Periyar Lake, surrounded by tropical jungles, wild elephants, gaur, monkeys, spotted deer, barking deer, wild boars, and a variety of birds. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 04: Periyar – Kumarakom (140 km / 04 hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Kumarakom, passing through the winding “Ghats” lined with thriving tea plantations, reaching the fascinating palm-fringed fields and rice fields of Kumarakom. Kumarakom is a beautiful backwater village on the shores of the charming Vembanad Lake, crossed by meandering waterways and ancient cottages. Board a houseboat for an overnight stay.

Day 05: Alleppey – Kovalam
After breakfast, disembark from the houseboat and transfer to Kovalam. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 06: Kovalam – Trivandrum
At the designated time, transfer to Trivandrum airport for your flight to the next destination.
