Day 01: Arrival in Cochin
Arrival in Cochin. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, take a city tour of Cochin, including visits to the Dutch Palace, the Jewish Synagogue (closed on Saturdays), St. Francis Church, and the Basilica of Santa Cruz. While driving along the coast, you’ll also see the unique and still-used “Chinese Fishing Nets,” introduced by Chinese merchants in the 14th century. The tour ends in the Fort Kochi area, where you can walk through Dutch and Portuguese historical buildings. Some parts of this nearly 500-year-old fort are surprisingly well preserved. Day 02: Cochin – Periyar (159 Kms / 04 Hrs)
Morning departure to Periyar. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. Periyar is known for its Wildlife Sanctuary, famous for its dense evergreen, semi-evergreen, moist deciduous forests, and savannah grasslands. It is home to elephant herds, sambars, tigers, gaur, lion-tailed macaques, and Nilgiri langurs. The splendid artificial lake formed along the Periyar River adds charm to the park. The main attraction is the wild elephant herds that come down to play in the lake. It is also considered a paradise for natural spices like black pepper, cardamom, cinnamon, and clove. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat ride, the best option to experience the wildlife in the Periyar Sanctuary. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 03: Periyar – Munnar (88 Kms / 02 Hrs)
After breakfast, depart for Munnar. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. Munnar is a beautiful hill station that houses the highest tea plantations in the world. In the afternoon, visit the popular tea plantations. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 04: Munnar – Ooty (240 Kms / 07 Hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Coonoor to board the famous miniature train to Ooty. Arrive in Ooty and transfer to the hotel. Later, take a stroll around the lake and the local market. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 05: In Ooty
After breakfast, take a half-day tour of Ooty. Visit the Botanical Gardens, established in 1847, which feature a variety of exotic and colorful plants. Also visit the Lake, where boating is a popular activity, and Doddabetta Peak, the highest point in the Nilgiri Mountains (2623 meters) offering spectacular valley views. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 06: Ooty – Mysore (By Surface 160 Kms / 06 Hrs)
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Mysore. Later, take a city tour of Mysore, including Srirangapatnam – Tipu’s palace, the fort, and Sri Ranganathaswami Temple. In the afternoon, visit the Mysore Palace, Jaganmohana Palace, the Art Gallery, Chamundi Hill, and Devraja Market. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 07: Mysore – Hassan (By Surface 120 Kms / 03 Hrs)
After breakfast, continue your Mysore tour with a visit to the Mysore Palace, St. Philomena’s Church, Chamundi Hill, the Bull, the Maharaja’s Palace, and the Art Gallery. Then, drive to Hassan, visiting Srirangapatnam en route. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 08: Hassan – Hospet (By Surface 340 Kms / 08 Hrs)
After breakfast, depart to visit Belur and Halebid. Belur, the first capital of the Hoysala dynasty, is known for the Chennakesava Temple, located near the city center. Halebid, the former capital of the Hoysala Empire, was founded in the 11th century and later destroyed in the early 14th century. Among the ruins is the grand Hoysalesvara Temple, the largest Hoysala temple, which began construction in 1121 and remained unfinished even after 86 years. Later, drive to Hospet and, upon arrival, check in at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 09: Hospet
After breakfast, take a tour of Hampi. Located along the Tungabhadra River, with majestic rock formations in the backdrop, Hampi was the capital of the Vijayanagara Kingdom. The 15th-century Chandramauleshwar Temple stands at the heart of Hampi and is one of the site’s architectural highlights. The Vithala Temple is famous for its extraordinary columns with animated carvings. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 10: Hospet – Patadakal – Aihole – Badami (By Surface 175 Kms / 06 Hrs)
After breakfast, check out and drive to Badami, visiting Aihole and Pattadakal en route. Located on the left bank of the Malaprabha River, Pattadakal is a UNESCO World Heritage site with 10 major temples representing early Chalukyan architecture. Visit Aihole, famous as the “cradle of Indian architecture.” Later, continue to Badami and check in at the hotel upon arrival. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 11: Badami – Goa (By Surface 350 Kms / 08 Hrs)
After breakfast, depart to visit Badami and see the Rock-Cut Temples, Gates, Forts, Inscriptions, and Sculptures. Climb a staircase to reach the ancient caves, all carved from sandstone on the edge of a hill. The Bhutanatha Temples are also worth visiting. Badami also has eighteen inscriptions dating from the 6th to 9th centuries. In the afternoon, drive to Goa. Arrive in Goa and check in at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 12: Goa
Breakfast at the hotel. Free day to enjoy at your leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 13: Goa – Mumbai (By Flight)
Breakfast at the hotel, then transfer to the airport for a flight to Mumbai. Upon arrival, take a city tour of Mumbai, including the Prince of Wales Museum, built in a grand Indo-Saracenic style, a drive along Marine Drive, Mumbai’s most popular seaside promenade, and a visit to Kamla Nehru Park and Hanging Gardens on the slopes of Malabar Hill, offering a nice view of Marine Lines and Chowpatty Beach. Visit the Jain Temple, Mani Bhawan (where Mahatma Gandhi stayed), and Dhobi Ghat. Later, transfer to the airport for your flight to your next destination.
