Day 1 – ARRIVAL IN COCHIN
Arrival in Cochin. Afterwards, visit Cochin. Cochin has one of the best natural harbors in the country. City tour of Kochi, covering the Dutch Palace Museum, the Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church, and the Chinese Fishing Net, a very unusual method of fishing. In the afternoon, enjoy one of the classical dances of South India, known as Kathakali. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2 – COCHIN – MUNNAR 127 KM / 04 HRS
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer by road to Munnar. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel. Munnar is a beautiful hill station with the highest tea plantations in the world. In the afternoon, visit the popular tea plantations and the Attukal and Nyayamakad waterfalls. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 3 – MUNNAR
Breakfast at the hotel. Full day free for leisure activities. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 4 – MUNNAR – ALLEPPEY {HOUSEBOAT} 160 KMS / 05 HRS
After an early breakfast, transfer to Alleppey. Upon arrival, board the houseboat. Enjoy an unforgettable houseboat ride through the captivating canals of Alappuzha to explore its stunningly beautiful surroundings and the fascinating Kerala countryside. All meals will be served on board. Overnight at the houseboat.
Day 5 – ALLEPPEY – PERIYAR 140 KMS / 04 HRS {SNAKE BOAT RACE}
Breakfast and transfer to the boat racing venue. The Kerala Snake Boat Race is an unparalleled attraction in God’s Own Country, famous for its exciting races that attract spectators from all over the country and abroad every year. Snake boat races are held in conjunction with Onam, the harvest festival. Some of the popular snake boat races that enliven Kerala’s emerald waterways once a year include the Nehru Boat Race. In the afternoon, transfer to Periyar. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 6 – PERIYAR – KOVALAM 200 KMS / 05 HRS
Periyar, India’s largest wildlife sanctuary, is a dream destination for any tourist. The ‘Surki’ Reservoir, built 120 years ago, is a major tourist attraction. This sanctuary spans 777 km², surrounded by a 25 km² artificial lake. Periyar is the only tiger reserve in the country and is a repository for many endangered species and a rich tribal culture. Upon arrival in Kovalam, check-in at the hotel. In the morning, enjoy a boat ride, which is the best option to experience the wildlife of the Periyar Sanctuary.
Day 7 – KOVALAM
Breakfast at the hotel. Full day free for leisure activities. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 8 – KOVALAM – TRIVANDRUM 12 KM / 30 MINS
At the scheduled time, transfer to Trivandrum airport to board your flight to your final destination.
