Kedarnath & Chardham Tour

Location: Chardham in Uttarakhand with Kedarnath by Helicopter – From Haridwar
Day 01: HARIDWAR – BARKOT BY ROAD (APPROX. 210 KMS / 7-8 HOURS)
Drive towards Barkot via Mussoorie. En route, visit Kempty Falls. Arrive at Barkot and check in at the hotel. The rest of the day is free for acclimatization and relaxation. Overnight stay in Barkot. The temperature in summer ranges from 25-30°C.
Day 02: DRIVE TO JANKICHATTI/PHOOLCHATTI (APPROX. 38 KMS) AND TREK TO YAMUNOTRI – BARKOT (6 KMS ONE WAY)
Early morning, transfer to Jankichatti/Phoolchatti and begin the trek to Yamunotri, approximately 6 km. This journey can be done on foot, by pony, or in a doli. In Yamunotri, bathe in the origin of the Yamuna River and cook rice in the hot spring. Then, return to Barkot for overnight stay. The temperature in summer ranges between 17-18°C maximum and 9-10°C minimum.
Day 03: BARKOT – UTTARKASHI BY ROAD (APPROX. 90 KMS / 4 HOURS)
Drive to Uttarkashi. Arrive in Uttarkashi and visit the Kashi Vishwanath Temple and the Shakti Temple. Check-in at the hotel. Overnight stay in Uttarkashi. The temperature during the day in summer ranges between 30-35°C.
Day 04: UTTARKASHI – GANGOTRI – UTTARKASHI (100 KMS / APPROX. 3-4 HOURS EACH WAY)
Early departure to Gangotri. En route, stop at Gangnani for a bath in the Garam Kund hot spring. Continue towards Gangotri via the beautiful Harsil Valley, famous for its natural beauty and majestic views of Deodar trees and mountains. In Gangotri, bathe in the sacred Ganges River, known as Bhagirathi at this point. Also, visit the Kedar Ganga Sangam, where the Kedar Ganga meets the Bhagirathi, and perform your pooja. Return to Uttarkashi for overnight stay.
Day 05: UTTARKASHI – GUPTKASHI (220 KMS / APPROX. 8-9 HOURS)
Drive towards Guptkashi. Enjoy the scenery of the Mandakini River at Tilwara. Arrival at Guptkashi and check-in at the hotel. In the afternoon, visit the Ardh Narishwar Temple. Overnight stay in Guptkashi. The temperature during the day in summer ranges between 25-30°C.
Day 06: GUPTKASHI – KEDARNATH (19 KMS TREK AND 30 KMS BY CAR)
Drive to Sonprayag in the morning. From there, begin the trek to Kedarnath. You can also opt to travel by Pony or Doli. Arrive at Kedarnath and visit the temple. Overnight stay in Kedarnath.
Day 07: KEDARNATH – GUPTKASHI (19 KMS TREK AND 30 KMS BY CAR)
Early morning, visit the Kedarnath temple for the Abhishek of Lord Shiva at 04:45 AM. After darshan, return to Sonprayag on foot. From there, drive back to Guptkashi. Overnight stay in Guptkashi.
Day 08: GUPTKASHI – BADRINATH (215 KMS / APPROX. 7 HOURS)
Drive to Badrinath. Arrival at Badrinath and check-in at the hotel. In the afternoon, if time permits, visit the Sesh Netra, Urvashi, and Charanpaduka temples. In the evening, attend the Aarti ceremony at the famous Lord Vishnu Temple of Badrinath. Overnight stay in Badrinath.
Day 09: BADRINATH – RUDRAPRAYAG (160 KMS / APPROX. 6 HOURS)
In Badrinath, there are several hot springs. In the morning, bathe in one of the Taptkunds and visit the temple for darshan of Shri Badrivishal. Then, drive back to Rudraprayag, visiting en route the confluence of the Alaknanda and Dhauliganga rivers and Joshimath, which is also the winter seat of Badrinath. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel. Overnight stay in Rudraprayag.
Day 10: RUDRAPRAYAG – HARIDWAR/RISHIKESH (140 KMS / APPROX. 4-5 HOURS)
Drive towards Rishikesh, also known as the World Capital of Yoga. Upon arrival, transfer to the Airport / Railway Station.
