Day 01                      ARRIVE DELHI

Arrive Delhi. Meet & assistance at the airport and transfer to hotel.

{Check In time 14:00 Hrs.} Overnight at hotel.

Day 02                      DELHI –    SRINAGAR BY FLIGHT
                                    SRINAGAR – GULMARG 50 KMS /02 HRS.

After breakfast transfer to the Airport to board the flight for Srinagar. Arrival in Srinagar Airport and transfer to to Gulmarg. Once reaching at Gulmarg our vehicle will drop the guest at Hotel in Gulmarg then no vehicle is allowed for local Running in Gulmarg due to ecofriendly Zone, if the road upto Gulmarg is closed due to heavy snowfall then our vehicle will stop at Tangmarg area from there the Guest has to hire the Snow jeep from Tangmarg to Gulmarg & back to Tangmarg. Gulmarg is (8700 ft i.e. 2652 mts) known as ‘Meadow of flowers Discovered by the Kashmiri romantic poet in the 16th century who was inspired with its grassy slopes covered with wild flowers. It is one of the India’s premier Hill resorts. Gulmarg today is not merely a mountain resort of exceptional beauty – It also turns into India’s premier Ski resort in winter. The Gondola Cable Car offers rides to the upland meadows of Kongdori and beyond to the top of Apharwat range to a height of 14000 ft for viewing the Himalayan Peaks in summer and for downhill skiing in winter. After reaching at Gulmarg. Guest can go by walk or Hire Sledge/ Pony/ ATV cars/ Cable Car Ride I & II Phase, Snow Shoes & jackets etc. (Direct cost basis)

Day 03                      GULMARG – SRINAGAR 50 KMS /02 HRS.

Breakfast at the Hotel. Morning free for leisure activities (on your own). Afternoon transfer to the Srinagar, the capital city of Jammu & Kashmir is situated at an altitude of 1, 730m. In the heart of the Kashmir valley, Srinagar spreads out on both sides of the Jhelum River. The valley’s beauty has enticed visitors from distant lands. Srinagar bears the hallmark of the Mughal, dry fruits and the traditional Kashmiri handicrafts are the other major attractions of the hill resort. If there is a heaven on earth, it’s here in Srinagar.

Later at evening enjoy your Shikara ride in famous Dal Lake to enjoy the beauty that God has graced this city, which is often compared to Venice. You will get a lovely view of some interesting places around the lake.

Day 04                      SRINAGAR

Full day tour to famous Mughal Garden, Nishat Garden known as ‘Garden of pleasure’ built in 16th century (1633) by Mughal King Asif Khan. Then visit to Shalimar Garden known as ‘Garden of love’ built in 16th century (1619) by Mughal King Jahangir for his beloved wife Noor Jahan or (Mehr-un-Nissa.

After noon visit to Jama Masjid of Srinagar is situated at Nowhatta, in the middle of the old city. An important mosque in Srinagar, it was built by Sultan Sikandar in 1400 AD. The attractions of the Jama Masjid of Srinagar, Kashmir include beautiful Indo-Saracenic architecture, a magnificent courtyard and 370 wooden pillars.

Shahihamdaan mosque: Khanqah-e-Moulla, also called the shrine of Shah-e-Hamdan and Shah-i-Hamdan Mosque, is popular as it was the first ever mosque constructed in Kashmir. Built on the beautiful sandy banks of the Jhelum river in Srinagar, Sultan Sikander built this around 1400 AD in honor of Mir Syed Ali Hamdani, the Muslim saint who popularized Islam in

Day 05                      SRINAGAR – SONMARG – KARGIL 200 KMS /06 HRS.

After Early breakfast depart for Kargil (204 Kms) & drive thru Sonamarg. Situated at an altitude of 9000 Ft. Sonamarg – 84 Kms is also called as “The meadow of gold” has, as its backdrop, snowy mountains against a cerulean sky. The Sindh River that meanders through the valley abounds with trout and mahaseer. Stop at Sonamarg for Photography/tea (If the clients are interested they can visit the Glaciers of Thajwas on ponies on direct payment basis) these glaciers remain throughout the year. Continue you’re towards Kargil and passing over Zojila Pass. Stop at Drass, the 2nd coldest inhabitant place in the World for & enjoy cup of tea. Then drive along the Drass River till one arrives at Kargil. & Check in at Hotel.

Day 06                      KARGIL – LAMAYURU – ALCHI 160 KMS /04 HRS.

After breakfast drive for Alchi at an altitude of 3150 Mts.) Enroute visiting the Monastery of Mulbekh, famous for 1st century Statue of Maitrya Buddha, carved out of a huge rock.  Proceed further towards Lamayuru & passing thru Namikala & Fatula Passes, the highest pass on Srinagar – Leh road. Visit the 10th Century Monastery, also called as “Yandrung Gompa” of red sect.  Later drive along the Indus River & passing thru the villages of Khalsi.  Arrive Alchi.

Overnight stay at your Hotel.

Day 07                      ALCHI – LEH 70 KMS /02 HRS.

Morning visit Rizong & Alchi Monastery. Alchi, which is famous for six separate structures with a collection of gigantic painted clay statues of the Buddha. Carved arches, ornate and 1,000-year-old paintings are what you get to see. The monastery was founded in the 11th century by Rinchen Zangpo the ‘Great Translator’, and was intricately decorated by artists from Kashmir and Tibet. Monks of Likir maintain Alchi and it is no longer is a place for active worship. Rizong, the monastery is situated along a steep, rocky track north of the main Leh-Srinagar Highway, the monastery houses the nunnery (women only) of Zulichen. Proceed for Leh via saspol. Arrive Leh (165 Kms – & District Headquarters of Ladakh Region at an altitude of 3500 Mts.). & Check in at Hotel for overnight Stay & Meals. Overnight stay at your Hotel.

Day 08                      LEH

Breakfast at the hotel later visit Thiksay Gompa or Thiksay Monastery is a gompa (monastery) affiliated with the Gelug sect of Tibetan Buddhism. It is located on top of a hill approximately 19 kilometres east of Lehin Ladakh.The monastery is located at an altitude of 3,600 metres (11,800 ft) in the Indus Valley. It is a twelve-story complex and houses many items of Buddhist art such as stupas, statues, thangkas, wall paintings and swords. it contains a 15 metres (49 ft) high statue of Maitreya, the largest such statue in Ladakh, covering two stories of the building., Hemis Monastry is the wealthiest monastery in India and famous for its rich collection of ancient remnants like the statue of Buddha made of copper, stupas made of gold and silver. Monastery also has sacred Thangkas, murals and various artifacts.

The Tibetan Buddhist monastery belongs to the Drukpa Lineage or the Dragon Order of Mahayana Buddhism. Gyalwang Drukpa, Tsangpa Gyare Yeshe Dorje in founded Drukpa Linegae 13th century. King Sengge Namgyal re-established it in the 17th century. And Shey gompa. The Shey Monastery structures located on a hillock in Shey, 15 kilometres to the south of Leh Shey was the summer capital of Ladakh in the past.The palace, was built first in 1655, near Shey village, by the king of Ladakh, Deldan Namgyal, also known as Lhachen Palgyigon. It was used as a summer retreat by the kings of Ladakh.

DAY 09                 LEH – NUBRA VALLEY 160 KMS /05 HRS.

After breakfast at hotel start your drive to Nubra Valley. En-route stop at Khardung la Pass, the highest motorable road in the world at 5600 meters. The views from the top of the pass are amazing. After spending some time continue drive on to Nubra Valley. On arrival check-in at the Hotel. In the afternoon visit Diskit Monastery and walk around the town of Diskit. Overnight at Hotel.

DAY 10                 NUBRA VALLEY

Breakfast at the hotel. Later visit the White Sand Dunes at Hunder. You can enjoy a camel ride on the Dunes. Visit Hunder and Diskit monasteries. In the Evening trek to Samstaling Monastery.

Nubra Valley Known for its orchards, scenic vistas, Bactrian camels and monasteries. Nubra Valley is known as the Orchard of Ladakh and was originally called Ldumra which meant the valley of flowers. Surrounded by snowcapped Himalayan ranges, Nubra valley lies sandwiched between Tibet and Kashmir. The view of the valley is picturesque and breathtaking. During winter, the whole valley looks like landscape of the moon (reason for calling Moon land) and in summer full of greenery. Overnight at Hotel.

DAY 11                 NUBRA VALLEY – PANGONG 280 KMS /06 HRS.

After breakfast Leave to Pangong .The Ladakh rang is crossed by the Chang-la (18,000 feet / 5,475 M) which despite its great elevation is one of the easier passes, remaining open for much of the year even in winter, apart from periods of actual snowfall. Tangse, just beyond the foot of the pass, has an ancient temple. 

Pangong Lake, a highest salt water lake in the World, Shared by two countries India (25%) & China (75%), enjoy the beauty of lake on banks of the lake while appreciating the changing colours of fascinating high altitude lake.  Overnight at Hotel.

DAY 12                 PANGONG – LEH 230 KMS /05 HRS.

Breakfast at the Hotel. Morning free for leisure activities (on your own). Afternoon transfer to the Leh.

DAY 13               LEH – DELHI BY FLIGHT
                            LEAVE DELHI

After breakfast transfer to the Airport to board the flight for Delhi. Upon arrival remain in transit to board the flight for onward destination.
