Detailed Program: Journey of Indian Splendor from New Delhi to Mumbai
Day 1 – Delhi / Agra
Safdarjung Railway Station, Delhi
Upon arrival at the Safdarjung Station in Delhi, you will be warmly welcomed by the Maharajas Express crew and complete check-in formalities.
Dinner: Onboard the train. Departure for Agra: 10:00 PM.
Overnight stay aboard the luxury train.
Day 2 – Agra
Arrival in Agra: 7:00 AM. Champagne breakfast at Taj Khema, overlooking the Taj Mahal.
Visit to the Taj Mahal: One of the Seven Wonders of the World and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan for his wife Mumtaz Mahal. The white marble mausoleum took approximately 22 years to complete.
Optional:Visit to the Agra Fort, rejuvenation at a five-star hotel, or shopping. You can also choose to return to the Maharajas Express or attend the Mohabbat The Taj Show.
Dinner:Onboard the train.
Departure for Sawai Madhopur: This evening.
Overnight stay aboard the Maharajas Express.
Day 3 – Ranthambore / Jaipur
Arrival in Sawai Madhopur:Breakfast aboard the train. Departure for an exciting safari in Ranthambore National Park, known for its tiger population.
Return to the train: Departure for Jaipur, the Pink City. Lunch aboard the train.
Arrival in Jaipur:Visit Jantar Mantar, rejuvenation at a palace hotel, visit Amber Fort, shopping, or golf at Rambagh Golf Club.
Activities at Jai Mahal Palace:Ride, paint, and feed elephants at City Palace/Jal Mahal, followed by dinner.
Return to the Maharajas Express: Departure for Bikaner at 11:00 PM.
Overnight stay aboard the Maharajas Express.
Day 4 – Bikaner
Breakfast:Onboard the train.
Arrival in Bikaner:Free time to enjoy the train’s facilities like the spa, or visit Lalgarh Museum or the Deshnok Temple.
Lunch:Onboard the train.
Visit to Junagarh Fort: Built in the 16th century, it still retains its charm.
Excursion to the Sand Dunes: With a tea stop at the Gajner Palace.
Return to the Maharajas Express: Departure for Jodhpur.
Overnight stay aboard the Maharajas Express.
Day 5 – Jodhpur
Breakfast:Onboard the train.
Jodhpur, known as the “Sun City,” is famous for its golden landscape.
Options:Stay aboard the train and enjoy its amenities or take a tour to the Bishnoi village (if time permits) or rejuvenation at a five-star hotel.
Lunch: Onboard the train.
Visit to Mehrangarh Fort: One of the largest forts in India and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, along with other hill forts in Rajasthan. Afterward, stroll through the Clock Tower Market.
Additional options:Enjoy spa facilities at a five-star hotel, shopping, or visit Umaid Bhawan Museum and Jaswant Thada.
Royal Night:Cocktails, cultural performances, and fireworks at Hanwant Mahal.
Return to the Maharajas Express: Departure for Udaipur.
Overnight stay aboard the Maharajas Express.
Day 6 – Udaipur
Breakfast: Onboard the train.
Arrival in Udaipur:Start the day with a boat ride on Lake Pichola, followed by a visit to the City Palace and the Crystal Gallery.
Lunch:At the Satkar Hall of Fateh Prakash Palace or Jagmandir Palace.
Additional options: Return to the train or participate in optional activities like shopping in local markets, enjoying a spa at a five-star hotel, or attending the Sound and Light Show.
Dinner:Onboard the train as it heads to Balasinor.

Day 7 – Mumbai
Breakfast:Onboard the train.
Arrival in Mumbai:At Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Station.
Disembarkation:Farewell to the Maharajas Express and conclusion of this magical journey.
