India Basics (Golden Triangle)

Locations:Delhi, Jaipur, and Agra

Day 01 – Arrival in Delhi
Arrival in Delhi. Meet and greet, followed by transfer to the hotel. Check-in and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 02 – Delhi
Breakfast at the hotel.
Morning:Tour of historic Old Delhi, including Red Fort, Jama Masjid (the largest mosque in India), Raj Ghat (Mahatma Gandhi’s memorial), and a rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk.
Afternoon:Visit New Delhi attractions, such as Birla Temple, Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, Qutub Minar, and a drive past India Gate and the government buildings.
Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 03 – Delhi to Jaipur (260 km / 6 hrs by road)
Breakfast at the hotel. Depart for Jaipur. Upon arrival, check into the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 04 – Jaipur – Amber – Jaipur
Breakfast at the hotel.
Morning:Excursion to Amber Fort. Enjoy an elephant ride to the fort.
Afternoon:Explore Jaipur, the famous “Pink City,” visiting the City Palace, Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), and Jantar Mantar (astronomical observatory). Jaipur is renowned for its block-printed textiles, blue pottery, carpet weaving, and semi-precious stones.
Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 05 – Jaipur to Fatehpur Sikri to Agra (240 km / 6 hrs by road)
Breakfast at the hotel. Depart for Agra with a stop at Fatehpur Sikri.

Fatehpur Sikri:
Built by Emperor Akbar as his capital, this architectural marvel in red sandstone was inhabited for only a few years.

Continue to Agra and transfer to the hotel.
Afternoon: Visit the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. The Taj Mahal, built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan as a mausoleum for his wife, is one of the wonders of the world. Agra Fort, where Shah Jahan was imprisoned by his son, offers stunning views of the Taj Mahal.
Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 06 – Agra to Delhi (210 km / 5 hrs by road)
Breakfast at the hotel. Depart for Delhi. No accommodation is provided in Delhi on this day. Proceed to your onward destination from Delhi.
