Day 01 – ARRIVAL IN DELHI
Arrival in Delhi.
Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 02 – DELHI
Breakfast at the hotel.
Morning visit to Old Delhi, including the Red Fort (drive-by only), Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India, and Rajghat, the memorial to Mahatma Gandhi.
In the afternoon, a tour of New Delhi, which includes Birla Temple, Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, Qutub Minar, and a drive-by tour of India Gate and government buildings.
Day 03 – DELHI / AMRITSAR by SHATABDI EXPRESS Train (12029 – 07:20/13:45 hrs.)
Breakfast at the hotel.
At the specified time, transfer to New Delhi Railway Station to board the Shatabdi Express train to Amritsar. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel.
In the afternoon, visit the Indo-Pak Wagah Border to watch the Flag Retreat Ceremony. Return to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 04 – AMRITSAR
Breakfast at the hotel.
Full-day visit with blessings at the Golden Temple, the most important Sikh shrine, also called Mecca for Sikhs, a living symbol of the spiritual and historical traditions of the Sikhs. Then, visit Jallianwala Bagh, where on April 13, 1919, British soldiers opened fire on an unlawful assembly of unarmed civilians, killing hundreds.
In the evening, visit the Golden Temple for the Night Ceremony. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 05 – AMRITSAR / DELHI by SHATABDI EXPRESS Train (12014 – 05:00/11:15 hrs.)
DELHI / AGRA (240 km / 05 hrs)
Breakfast at the hotel.
At the specified time, transfer to the Railway Station to board the Shatabdi Express train to Delhi. Upon arrival, drive to Agra.
Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 06 – AGRA / Fatehpur Sikri / JAIPUR (235 km / 05 hrs)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Visit the Taj Mahal, undoubtedly one of the most romantic buildings in the world, known for its architectural magnificence and aesthetic beauty, considered one of mankind’s greatest creations in commemoration of love (closed on Fridays).
Visit the Agra Fort, which is actually a city within a city, including the Moti Masjid, Diwan-I-Am (Public Audience Hall), Diwan-I-Khas (Private Audience Hall), the Octagonal Tower, Jahangir’s Palace, and many other monuments.
Then, proceed to Jaipur, with a stop at Fatehpur Sikri, the imperial city of the Mughal dynasty built by Akbar.
Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 07 – JAIPUR
Breakfast at the hotel.
City tour of Jaipur begins with a visit to Amber Fort, riding an elephant. The painted miniatures on the walls depict scenes of hunting, warfare, and festivals. Precious stones and mirrors are embedded in the plaster.
Brief photo stop at Hawa Mahal, the Palace of Winds.
Visit the Maharaja’s City Palace.
Jantar Mantar, the largest stone and marble observatory in the world. Situated near the entrance to the City Palace, the observatory has 17 large instruments, many of which are still in use. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 08 – JAIPUR / DELHI (260 km / 06 hrs)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Drive to Delhi. Upon arrival, transfer to the International Airport for the flight to the next destination.
