Giving Back to Society

At Art of Travel, we firmly believe that the only way to exist and grow is by giving back a portion of our resources to society.

Giving back, or Corporate Social Responsibility as it is commonly known, does not only mean donating money. It also involves dedicating time and effort to making our planet and society a better place to live.

Below are some of the CSR initiatives of Art of Travel:

Education

Our director, Mr. Nitin Shorawal, firmly believes that the key to a better life is education, especially for the lower strata of society. Not only does he stay up to date with his own education despite his busy schedule, but he also ensures the education of the less privileged sections of society. He is associated with several programs, such as Teach India – an initiative of the Times of India Group, and HT Pathshala – The Hindustan Times’ teaching program.

Disaster Relief Assistance

Art of Travel, with its limited resources, has always tried to contribute during disasters. Whether it was the floods in Uttarakhand in 2013 or the earthquake in Nepal in 2015, Art of Travel acted quickly and contributed by sending relief materials to these areas.

During severe weather: The weather in northern India can be very harsh. Many people die on the streets, especially during extreme cold. Every year, Art of Travel attempts to help those in need in these adverse conditions by providing food and warm clothing.

Humanitarian Aid

Saving Children

Art of Travel also seeks to help the less fortunate through various NGOs, such as Goonj and Panchawati Yogashram.
