                        Detailed Program: The Indian Panorama from New Delhi to New Delhi
Day 1 – Delhi
Maharajas Express: Luxury Train Travel in India
Arrive at Delhi, the country’s capital. Complete the check-in formalities at the Safdarjung railway station. Enjoy a traditional welcome and settle into your cabins. Savor the welcome drink offered. Soon the luxury train would begin its journey for the first destination, the ‘Pink City’ of Rajasthan, Jaipur.
Dinner and overnight stay at Maharaja’s Express train.
Day 2 – Jaipur
Today, the train arrives at Jaipur. Breakfast on board. De-board the train and enjoy a visit to the Amber Fort, a world heritage site. The fort is best-known for its architectural design and aesthetic ambience. Here, you can enjoy an elephant safari up to the entrance of the Fort. The other option is jeep ride. Next, proceed to one of the most popular attractions of Jaipur, the City Palace or Jai Mahal Palace where you can indulge in exciting elephant activities like painting them or feeding them or enjoy a joyful ride.
City tour followed by lunch.
You can either get back to your comforts of Maharaja’s express or choose to indulge in refreshing spa at Palace hotel or go for a shopping tour or enjoy golfing at Rambagh Goff Club or visit the City Palace or Jantar Mantar (an observatory).
Later, Maharaja’s Express leaves for Sawai Madhopur (Ranthambore). Dinner and overnight stay on the train.
Day 3 – Ranthambore / Fatehpur Sikri
Morning arrival at Sawai Madhopur, one of the well-known cities of Rajasthan. Breakfast on- board. Get ready for an exciting adventure, a game drive at Ranthambore National Park, one of the finest Tiger reserves in the country.
Get back to your luxury train as the train departs for Fatehpur Sikri. Savor lunch on board. The train reaches arrives at Fatehpur Sikri, a UNESCO heritage site. Visit the deserted Mughal city of Fatehpur Sikri, home a number of wonderful architectural gems.
Back to Maharaja’s express for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4 – Agra
Today the train enters Agra, the city of Taj Mahal. Proceed to visit one of the Seven Wonders of the World, Taj Mahal. The white marble monument is a masterpiece of brilliant architecture alluring a lot of travelers to India. It was constructed by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal.

The Agra Fort. Dinner onboard as train proceeds to Orchha.
Day 5 – Orchha & Khajuraho
Breakfast on-board. You have some free time till the train arrives at the next destination. Indulge in the facilities offered aboard the train and enjoy the scenery from your cabin’s window. Afternoon, arrival at Khajuraho. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Khajuraho Group of Monuments is mostly visited for the exotic sculptures and figurines, promoting erotica that adorn the walls of the temples here. Visit the Khajuraho temples (Western group of temples), these are group of Hindu and Jain temples, built by the Chola rulers.
Get back onboard. Either you can settle down and relax or refresh yourself with spa at a hotel. You may also prefer to enjoy the sound and light show or Dances of India show.
Afterwards, Maharaja’s express leaves for Varanasi.
Dinner and overnight stay on the train.
Day 6 – Varanasi
Enjoy breakfast on board. Arrival at Varanasi. De-board the train for a sightseeing tour in Varanasi, one of the holiest cities in India. Varanasi is located on the banks of river Ganga and is considered as the abode of Lord Shiva. Visit the Silk Weaving center, a manufacturing industry where weaving is done within the household.
Relish delicious lunch at Vivanta by Taj. Later, visit the Sarnath ruins and museum. Settled within close proximity to Varanasi, Sarnath is a place where Buddha delivered his first speech at the deer park. The place holds a number of Buddhist monuments and edifices.
Later, leave for a boat ride on River Ganges to witness the magnificent evening Arti, the river worship ceremony. Later, return back to the train and leave for Lucknow city.
Dinner and overnight stay on the train.
Day 7 – Delhi
Have your breakfast onboard. Bid farewell as on the 8th day of the Indian Panorama itinerary, Maharajas Express will complete a full circle and arrive back in Delhi.

Day 1 – Arrive at Delhi’s Safdarjung Station for a welcome reception as you make your way to Jaipur!
20:30–Guests will arrive at Delhi’s Safdarjung Railway Station for a welcome reception and check-
in formalities.
21:30–Dinner will be served on board the Maharajas’ Express.
22:00–The train will depart for Jaipur.
Day 2 – Elephant Riding & other activities, and a tour of the Royal Observatory (Jantar Mantar)
08:00–Breakfast will be served on board the train.
09:50–The Maharajas’ Express will arrive in Jaipur, “The Pink City!”
10:00–Passengers will visit the Amber Fort.
12:30–Passengers will proceed to the Jai Mahal, the city palace, for an afternoon of painting, riding,
And feeding majestic elephants, followed by lunch.
15:30–Return to the comfort of the Maharajas’ Express OR participate in OPTIONAL activities:
Enjoy a tour of the Jantar Mantar Observatory OR a private shopping tour OR rest and
Relaxation at five-star spa facilities OR golfing at the Rambagh Golf Club.
20:00–Dinner will be served on board the train.
23:00–The train will depart for Sawai Madhopur.
Day 3 – Jeep Safari to Ranthambore National Park followed by visit to Fatehpur Sikri
06:30–Breakfast will be served on board the train as the Maharajas’ Express arrives in Sawai
Madhopur! Passengers will proceed to an exciting game drive at nearby Ranthambore
National Park.
09:30–Return to the comfort of the Maharajas’ Express.
11:00–Lunch will be served on board the train as the Maharajas’ Express departs for Fatehpur Sikir.
14:45–The Maharajas’ Express will arrive in Fatehpur Sikir.
15:15–Passengers will proceed to the abandoned Mughal city of Fatehpur Sikri.
18:00–Return to the comfort of the Maharajas’ Express.
20:00– Dinner will be served on board the train.
Day 4 – Enjoy a brunch that overlooks the Taj Mahal, followed by Red Fort
07:00–The Maharajas’ Express will arrive in Agra! Passengers will proceed for a visit to the Taj
Mahal.
09:45–Passengers will enjoy a champagne breakfast at the scenic Taj Khema.
10:45–Return to the comfort of the Maharajas’ Express.
12:30–Lunch will be served on board the train.
14:45–Visit Agra Fort
20:30–Return to the comfort of the Maharajas’ Express as the train departs for Khajuraho.
Day 5 – Guided tour to the western group of temples in Khajuraho
06:30–Breakfast will be served on board the train.
12:00–Lunch will be served on board the train.
15:00–The train will arrive in Khajuraho, and passengers will proceed to visit the western group of Temples.
18:15–Passengers will return to the comfort of the Maharajas’ Express OR can choose to participate

Attend a Dance of India Show.
20:15–Dinner will be served on board the train.

Day 6 – Tour to Varanasi Silk Centre, Visit to Sarnath, Cruise on the River Ganges

12:00–The Maharajas’ Express will arrive in Varanasi, “The City of Light!”
12:30–Passengers will proceed for a visit to a silk-weaving center, followed by lunch at Vivanta by
The Taj Hotel.
15:00–Passengers will proceed for a visit to the Sarnath Ruins and Museum.
16:30–Passengers will enjoy a boat cruise along the River Ganges and witness an evening Aarti.
20:00–Return to the comfort of the Maharajas’ Express, where dinner will be served on board.
23:00–The train will depart for Lucknow.
Day 7 – Bid adieu to the Indian Splendor itinerary onboard the Maharajas Express
07:15–Breakfast will be served on board the train.
08:30–Disembark and bid farewell to the Maharajas’ Express!
